Earlier today, I was purchasing pets when it said that I had reached the housing limit. Is this regular? Has anybody else ever reached the housing limit?

Can you remember the specific wording you received? If you have a lot of decor items (in the house or in the tray), you might have received a limit warning about item limits.

I can't remember the specific wording used, though I do have a lot of furniture in the house.

There are two limits in the mobile versions of VF2. To make sure that the game doesn't consume too much memory, your family may have up to 500 total items, which includes all furniture, decor items, and pets. The items in the decor tray are included in determining when your family has reached that limit. Your family is also limited to 30 pets, so that the game doesn't slow down.

When either of these limits is reached, you will receive a message from the game that lets you know that you need to sell some items (or pets) before you can purchase more.

Now I remember. . .I got another black cat from the clown event today, and when I tried to place it, the game said that I had reached the limit of 30 pets and I had to put it in storage or sell it. That's also what it said when I was purchasing pets the other day. Though I pretty much figured it out on my own, I still appreciate the help. Thanks, guys.
