For the first time ever, I got a man coming to the door and offering to child-proof the house. I said no because I was concerned that maybe kids would no longer be able to do some things I like them to do, like playing pool, video games, or who knows what. Has anyone ever agreed to hire him? If so, what happened?

I've had that a couple of times but it has sounded too much like a scam so I've always said no.

I've always said no because I don't think it's a good idea, but I heard if you hire him, he will get his finger stuck in an electrical socket and make you pay his medical bills. So, it's good if you say no.
