Ok is this juat my imagination or is it true that the meals are done faster when a hubby and wife are both set to the task of preparing a meal at the same time?

I never tried that! I'll check and see what happens. I haven't been making meals lately cause they take too long to get ready! Maybe that's the solution! smile

Ok today I tried something different. In one family I had only the mom make the meal. In another family I had the mom and the dad make the meal together. When the two of them made it the meal was definatly ready faster.

I don't usually let them complete the full preparing meal cycle. I start seating the little peeps at the table as soon as the plates are in place.

The odd thing is in the family where mom and dad were working together... dad placed the plates on the table first even though he was the last one placed in the kitchen to start preparing the meal.

Hmmmmmm I will investigate this more. As soon as the kids are old enough I will put them in the kitchen with mom and dad and see how fast they finish making the meal then.
