I was wondering if anyone has noticed whether the Learning Tech helps much? I have noticed that in VV5 that they seem to go from Untrained to Trainee and then on to Adept fairly quickly, but it seems to take forever after that to get to Master of anything.

If I invested in Learning Tech, would it help for them to gain levels quicker? I know that I prefer to start with all Learners as they definitely seem to gain skills far more quickly than non-learners (and I refuse to start with one that dislikes learning) but if I do spend tech points in learning, will it make any difference to my adult peeps, or just to the little ones?

I always buy Learning last, cause I babysit them til they have all Food. I havent found it made that much difference, and I really need food, construction, and of course science.

Well I am on my 4th tribe and CONVERTED a heathern that DOESN'T like to LEARN.
When I shutdown the game last nite, I left him in Science, because I had found IF they are in Science when shutdown, they ADVANCE faster.
BUT he DIDN'T. He's STILL the SAME as he was when converted. HOW do I get him to LEARN?
I put him to farming, but he KEEPS STROLLING to the stream.
MAYBE I can STRIKE him with lightening and get RID of him for good.
