i seem to be having an issue w/ my fish dying from hunger when i stop the time...is this a bug or something.. i have to keep starting over bc everytime i go a few days w/ the game stopped the fish die and i must purchase new ones.

If you're playing games in more than one player slot, there are some precautions to observe when changing players. Due to the way that the game updates the state of your tanks, you should always click Play immediately after changing players. If you don't do that, you will see unexpected results. After you've clicked Play, it's safe to return to the menu and change the game speed.

You can also see the same kind of problems if you leave the game on the options or menu screen for extended periods of time.

Also, adding on what Heather said, always go into your tank and feed them before taking them off pause. I noticed this a few years ago when I would pause for awhile and it hit me to feed before unpausing, and now my fish are fine no matter if they are paused for a day or 6 months.

ah that is a good idea....thanks guys...i was getting tired of starting over weekly....only my last slot for my 5th tank was the only one that stayed alive no matter how long i leave them.
