I've got less than 130 berries on the bush. There's @700 food in the food basket in village. Should I start to panic? Where will other food come from and what skills do I need to quickly gather to make sure my people don't starve? (first run through; just bought it yesterday - can't download guide yet (forbidden access, it says)

Any ideas? (so far have bought the lower costing (tech points) in tree, food, learning, construction). 8 tribe members (2 kids)

3. Your lovies won't starve. I had about 100 on the bush and 700 in the bin. Anything over 400 in the food bin seems safe to me, but it all depends on how large your village is.

4. Hint: Puzzles 7, 11, and 12 have to do with food for your villagers.

Don't panic, how far are you, puzzle-wise? Puzzle 7 actually requires puzzle 2, which requires some skills to achieve.

ok i am out of food and ive tried the yellow fruit but it has to be boiled im stuck on how to get them to boil the fruit

They cannot boil fruit. It has to be cooked. Have you completed puzzle 2?

no i havent gotten puzzle 2 yet im trying everything i can think of to get the puzzle i keep having them clear debris but what else do i need to do?

I've found that on slow or normal game speeds, 1 kid can harvest enough mushrooms to support a tribe of up to 10 peeps. On Fast 1 kid can still harvest enough to support up to 7 peeps.

Also, the berries regenerate fairly fast. Unless you're growing your tribe too fast, there should be adequate food to tide you over until you can solve some of the other food puzzles.

But how do you catch fish? And I haven't seen any crabs, where do I find them. Do I need some puzzle finished or a higher level in tech?

I had 401 amount of food. When I got out of the game and went back later it was at 0. This was using the fruit on the trees. How can you keep you food amount to keep going up when leaving the game.
