I underpaid my taxes by $103,223! why do i have to pay so much money??????????????????????????
I only had a few hundred thousand dollars anyway!
I under paid my taxes my behind! It is miscalculating! I got paid all this money by overpaid taxes!
I said all, but i meant most.

Im not sure if this was a glitch, but I actually underpaid my taxes so much that all my money dissapeared and I was left with 0.1 dollars! It gave me quite a shock!
On a higher note I also overpaid my taxes by a load, and I mean a LOAD of money, so more money was restored than what I had!

The taxman has never treated me that brutally..  On a higher note I also overpaid my taxes by a load, and I mean a LOAD of money, so more money was restored than what I had! Pay-back + interest, I assume!

hmmm, I've played VF (original) for years and have never seen what Taco Freak or what JesseGirl reported happen in my games. I wonder if it is based upon the version of the game or something else such as some type of glitch.
Weird, I'm glad I haven't ever had that happen in my game, Taco Freak. Hopefully you will get it back again like what happened to JesseGirl.

I'm pretty sure that the "underpaid your taxes" event takes away 10% of the money you currently have (or very close to that). So, the more you have, the more you lose.

Similarly, though, the "overpaid your taxes" event gives you 10% of your current bank balance. In this case, the more you have, the more you gain.

That explains why I now have 10000000200024.45 VF dollars. I had got 10% more added in the overpaid taxes event keeping in mind I am on my 39th Generation.
