Okay, so I know that twins and triplets are meant to be random, but I thought I'd do an experiment with my family.

At the moment the guy I'm playing with was a triplet. He had six kids and in that six was a pair of twins. I'm curious to see whether one of those twins will have a multiple, so I'll be choosing one of them for the next generation.

Anyone else experimented with this and had any kind of result? smile

My triplet Mysti had 5 single births and an adopted child.
I'm still optimistic about her grandchildren though. laugh

I have a family with a set of twins and a set of triplets. I am excited to see what will happen with the next generation in that family. (But I'm going to be sad when all 5 leave for college the same morning. *sniff* *sniff*)

My third family is the oldest - 5th generation just moved in - but no multiple births yet.

I've had two sets of twins and one set of triplets so far, all in the same family. As I said earlier, the twins came in the next generation after the triplets, so I'm curious to see if that helps the odds. Funnily enough, all the multiples have been boys so far, and all my generations have had a majority of males.

I hate having singles, only because it means it's a rush to have six kids before time runs out laugh I like my families to run like machines, hehe!

lol When they're little I love the multiples, they're so cute and mom misses much less time on the job. But the house empties so quickly when they grow up. frown

I've had 1 set of boy triplets (but none of them inherited the house, they were born to my 'matriarchal' family. lol) and the other 2 have been girls. My one set of twins are boys.

Currently playing 5 games. Two have had twins, once, two only singles.....and then there is my multiple family....oddly enough called 'Uno'. On 7th generation, have had twins 3 times and triplets three times, plus 2 generations of singles.
Had this thought....wouldn't it have been fun if Arthur had programmed in little adoptees that were twins or triplets?

I had twins on 2 generations, but no triplets till now (I'm on my 8th generation, going to the 9th and playing just one game)

Joanna, what do you mean by 'matriarchal' family? Do you just choose one that looks like the mom?

I haven't had a multiple birth in a long time. I miss them.

I'm playing four games. Three are up to the eighth or ninth generation, and in each one (handily for the trophies) I've had twins once. I've never seen triplets. The other game is on the first generation and only has two singletons so far.
