After the mom died, I went to decide which kid should move into the house. I was confused because the order of the children born was switched around: so the youngest is now the oldest sort of thing. There's not much proof to show you this, but I was going through the adoption profiles and thought, this isn't right!

I believe it randomly ages your kids to be close to the age of your original adoptees. I had one generation in which all of the kids were the same age, and another where all but one was 28 or 29 and the one was 23. Seems more random than not.

When you transition from one generation to another, the ages, careers, and "Wants kids" is randomized among the children. This is normal.

In my family that had 2 sets of triplets 4 yrs apart, when I went to choose a child to inherit the home, the 6 kids were all different ages, but all somewhere in their 20s.
