When can you have your first baby? My people keep arguing and saying it's too soon.

They shouldn't be saying it's too soon if they have no children yet. They may argue, but if you really want them to have kids, just be persistent.

Is there an age they stop having babies? My Mother is 53 and I'm really hoping to have another baby sibling for the little boy, but they try and that's it. I did the baby boost, and it worked (before 50) for the little boy I have now.

If they are arguing just keep dropping them on top of each other. Time between babies seems to vary by couple, but there are things which can help the mood be right. I have not had any children once the mother gets over 40, even with the baby boost shot used. In the other games I think 40 was the cut off age for having kids.

However one couple did get an adopt a homeless child event so now that family has 4 kids.

If you check the Detail screens, you will see if the peeps want children at all, which might affect how often they want to have children. If you have two people that feel "Not really" they might not be so quick to try.

There are also mood enhancers (perfumes) in the varied section of the store that will help them feel like trying.

According to the game guide once one of the parents die, and a child is over 20, the child will be able to take over the house, there will be a clickable choice in the "Family" screen, so even if you don't have a big family with this child, you can try with the next generation.

I've seen a mother have a baby at 43. I suspect it gets less likely as the person gets older. In the later VV games the maximum age for a mother having children is 50, so I expect it's similar in VF.

My character had a baby at 48. I'm thinking the cutoff age may be 50, as it is in the Villagers games.

They will say it's too soon to try if they just got done trying. You have to wait 20-30 minutes before trying again. Good luck making babies!
