I've been playing Village Sim for a while now (I don't think 300+ hours is a while ) and although I feel the love for Village Sim, I find it too short for this type of game. For comparison, I played Fish and Plant Tycoon approximately like umm... 1~1.5 months, and I'd say that's a value no Palm games has ever surpass.
But when I really-really-really-really put all my attention to Village Sim, I can reach the final three puzzle in just 5 days time.

Please make Village Sim game area a little bigger, and put more visible advancement to the game. I want to see my villagers hunt some prey on grassy plains, watching them miserably failing at first but later in the game they can set traps to efficiently kill their intended target.
I want to see them set up badly conditioned shacks and later on they will make tree houses to escape from those nocturnal predators... Well, I think a realtime day/night cycle is in order. The list just goes on, but if it can be summarised, I want Village Sim to offer more visuals, and the game area to be bigger... Surely the land of isola isn't just a patch of land?

If the game becomes too resource hungry, create a dedicated low quality/static version of the game. Currently, even Tungsten E2 comes with an Intel 200Mhz, so I think a more involving visuals can be implemented with newer generation of Palm based devices becomes stronger in term of performance.

Well, my 2 cents... But Village Sim currently is as good as it gets... Hey, I even nominate Village Sim for Palm Powered Award every day with 3 different email addresses (currently, from me alone Village Sim already received 40+ votes, I got to divide other votes for Plant and Fish Tycoon though...)

Regards,
MiDi

MiDi, have you tried playing on hard mode? It certainly adds more of a challenge to the game!!

Well, I haven't yet, does it make that much a different? But I do feel the land of Isola can make do with larger area, is it not?

I can tell you that on the highest difficulty level, food is much more of a problem and will present a challenge, especially until you get fishing. You'll have to do things "right" to play the game on "hard" (but it keeps you on your toes)!

There have been a lot of great suggestions for Village Sim, and we can hope that Arthur and team will be able to give us a sequel or add-ons that implement a lot of them. I think this game has a lot of potential for expansion!

Thanks for the replies, I'll try the game on hard tommorow (just reflashed my Treo with beta BIOS, still testing if it's stable or not).
I think I'll wait for awhile, after all, this game is still fairly new anyway.

Expansions... it would be lovely! I vote for a bigger territory! The game is just... great, but my "conqueror" spirit remains a little bit frustrated...

That would negate the point of buying the game! The free version is to get you excited about it!

Yes, please, more expansions! A foray into the jungle perhaps? Some ruins to explore would be nice too...

Love this game, btw, great little people
