How do I make a post on the main forum screen?

You need to choose the appropriate forum (there are forums for each game, as well as one for technical support, fan fiction, etc.). Once in the right forum, there's an orange tab above the list of posts labeled "New Topic." Click that, fill in a subject that describes what you're posting about, and then fill in the post. When you're done, click Submit.

When you post a thread in some forums, you will see it on the main.

Are you perhaps talking about the forum portal page? I'm not sure what the requirements are for a new topic to appear there, but I imagine they have to be recent. At the moment, your post to this forum also appears there.

Good point, arnie. There is no way to post directly to the Portal Page. The posts that appear there are very recent posts from certain forums.

seems like crafty's not asking how to make a post in general cause making a post to ask how to just seems redundant.

The portal page that you see when you first come to the forums are just the newest new threads.

I always wondered how do I start a new topic, as sometimes in the pages, I could not find the subject I wanted to post. Thank you for pointing it out LadyCFII. I started on a new topic in plant tycoon, but I did not know then, I just thought it was automatic, or was it.
