I have read and reread to event list and cannot find the one that happened to me. I don't have the exact wording, but basically it said that all infants had been taken to another part of the island. Has anyone else had this happen? Can anyone explain it?

If you're talking about the list of events in the Guide section, it includes only the events encountered by the player who submitted that list and can't be totally relied on, since events don't always have the same outcomes each time they occur. The event you encountered is a late-game event and is mentioned here.

There is a thread about that exact event that i started Here just for curiosity if somone wants to read it, but i have seen it myself since.
