You can get all the help you want here and probably more. If you want general help, you can go to the VV2 section of the forums where you'll find a general strategy guide that won't give away too much info.
If you want a little more help, there is a section (LadyCFII can link it for you) that will give subtle hints. If you REALLY want to go full steam ahead and darn the mystery, there is a detailed cheat sheet there that gives complete solves for all the puzzles.
My BEST advice, is to start out slow in "easy" mode with the tutorial turned ON. Since you're new to VV, this will give you the basics, then you can start a new game (or continue the one you're playing) and try to solve thru as much as you can on your own.
Nearly anyone here can and gladly will help with a specific question if you have one.
