If I have never played VV, should I start with VV 1 or just jump in anywhere along the saga?

It would be good to start with the 1st one, to get used to the "idea" of the game and it's resources. I have all 5 and I started with 1 and as each came on, I bought and played it. GL and enjoy. GBU2.
