I'm considered a newbie because I just joined but I have been playing LDW games for quite a while. I'm a 45 year old mother of 2 teenagers. I love VV, VV1, VV2 (can't wait for VV3), didn't get along too well with Fish Tycoon, and I'm struggling with Plant Tycoon but enjoying the game.
I wanted to say thank you to all of you. I've been to numerous message boards and forums. I have to say that this is the most well behaved forum site I've ever visited. It's very refreshing.

I love Plant Tycoon, and it has turned into a major research project for me. I have charts, papers and notebooks everywhere. I don't know what's more thrilling seeing all those beautiful plants and flowers or catching the bugs, and I always get a chuckle from those little Isolains in my nursery.

I think the behavior of the members on this forum is related to the types of people who are drawn to these calm, slow-placed, thoughtful games. Welcome mamasheets! Wow two posts on the front page from 45 year olds. I also turned 45 on Sept 24th.

I'm loving Plant Tycoon! But I'm avoiding coming to the forum much because I'm trying to find out everything about the game by myself. Once I discover all (or the majority) of the plants, I'll be sure to read through the many, many posts from my fellow addicts.

Welcome akasia, I enjoyed being 45 but 45+ is better. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY. I come to the forums to see if anything new is happening. There are some great tools for plant research, and they don't contain spoilers. I learned about "spoilers" the hard way, when I posted something that was considered a spoiler and I didn't put "spoiler" in the subject line. It's safe to just review the forum list and if you don't see spoiler then you can look.

Hope you enjoy the game as much as I am, 300hrs into my second game. I deleted the first one when I got angry with my hubby. The second game is going much better, I have 3 magic plants and too many seeds. They are so pretty I hate trashing any. Well that's enough chatter from me. Have Fun......
