Not crazy about the pig...but a feast or celebrations would be cool.

I've only noticed two skin tones, pale Caucasian and tanned Caucasian. I would love to see some darker skin colors, maybe a total of four or five. I understand that this might make the breeding harder to program, with the kids looking like the parents

I too would like to see different skin hues. But I don't think it would be any harder for breeding. In fact, it would make things more interesting. I don't care for the multi-parthner either, my villageers marry. And at this point I just keep jouranls of family history so that I know who is who.

Have to love that "your villager is completely restored stew"! How about a medical potion to keep people from becoming "Elderly" at 63? The spiritual leader is an excellent idea, and dovetails with the Culture Tech aspect. I like the idea of marriage, but that cuts down the potential out-crossings. And please, please, some sort of way to make the Trainee and Adept Doctors concentrate on learning their craft. The idea of training in the hospital is a good one. So far, the only thing they can do with the hospital is fix the hut. As for the fathers getting all the parenting points, the pair that came through for me, the man was an Adept Parent, and ONLY an adept parent, with no other experience. The female was a Trainee Doctor, who actually does make the round of the plants, except for the flytrap.

I agree about the problem with kids running amok in the game. It makes you crazy. In fact, that's the reason I ended my last game in which I had gotten very far. I couldn't stand all the kids which I blame on that dang GONG that made all the women pregnant at once! What a nightmare. We do need a place to get the children out of the way, so have builders build a school and a daycare. At least a school. Have "teaching skills" incorporated. Allow us to get new clothes earlier in the game. More stew ingredients offerd to find. More items to get points with and collect. I like the idea of raising livestock and having different weather conditions. My fear here is that it would rain all the time and make the game horrible! The bigges thing I agree with is tha fact that nursing mothers are virtually taken out of the "life of the tribe" during the two years they are nursing. They should be able to do something like teach, research or run day cares. They should get more points for parenting skills. There should be a punishment for lazy members of the tribe and you might consider more of the special events to pop up during each game. Sometimes, usually - I see only one or two at best. There should be more off the wall sort of things that affect a tribe than that don't you think? I like the idea of having to make the choices for the tribe member when this happens. All in all, though I and many others have a lot of comments and suggestions, this is one awesome game! GOOD JOB!

P.S. To my own offering: I, too, would like to see different skin hues with differnt effects from mixed matings. It would be realistic. I like the idea of two people marrying and continuing their family line for as long as they can. I give them last names - even have the owman lose hers when she marries. I keep family records so I know who is who's parent and so on. I make my own birth and death dates which is a little difficult the way the time is set up, but it makes it neater. I put the dates on the tombstones which I would like to see given more room for writing things, i.e. name, birth & death dates and personal comment about the deceased. It would also be neat if family members of the deceased would, on their own, visit the cemetery and place flowers on the grave or something like that. Just a suggestion or three. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Hi, I'm new to the forums, but not to VV I have both of them, and am excitedly waiting for the next one. I was reading the forums, and I got an awesome idea. How about if beach glass was a collectible, and if you got extra, you could make a stained glass window, that could be used for the church? There could be a ton of builders and researchers working on it, and they could all get huge bonuses. Then at a certain time of day the sun would shine through the window and some people went to *church*. When they came out, there could be an event, like a food bonus or skills for some people, maybe some nursing mothers, could go, and a couple of 10-14 kids could baby sit and the mothers could go to church and possibly gain new skills. LOL just a suggestion.
