OKAY I LOGGED ONTO PLANT TYCOON AND IT SAID ENTER NICKNAME, AND I WAS THINKING HMMMM THIS IS WEIRD, USUALLY IT TAKES ME RIGHT TO MY PLANTS WHEN I START THE GAME..... MY WHOLE GAME IS GONE, ITS LIKE I NEVER EXISTED!!! WHAT HAPPENED? DO U AUTOMATIClly GET DELETED AFTER AWHILE? IM SO UPSET BC I ALREADY HAD 3 MAGIC PLANTS, AND EVERY SINGLE UPGRADE, PLUS SOOOO MANY SEEDS, EVERYTHING FOR THE NURSEY, EVERYTHING POSSIBLE..........I HAD ALMOST 200 SPECIES DISCOVERED TOO!

There are several things that can cause that, including installing and running a different version of the game. Regardless of the cause, the backup file is usually intact, unless you've tried to launch the game too many times, which will overwrite the backup file.

You can use the instructions at the bottom of this post to see if the backup savegame file is usable.

Silly question, but by any chance are you running under a different "user" than you did before? IIRC, since the saved game files are in the users "My Documents" folder, another user on the same machine would have different (and fresh) files saved.
