The viewer is completely compatible with Borg's chart in read-only mode, and it does properly display all of the information and images that the charts contain (which is all that many people really want). The link to the viewer is offered simply to help people that have no ability to view Excel files. The post does say "you will need the full Excel software to use the interactive features of the chart."
