Perhaps this topic has come up before, but.... I think if you breed doctors then their offspring are more inclined to be doctors, no? The same should then follow for farmers, researchers, etc. I bred a master doctor to about 25 females, and nearly every one of their children shows a small level of HEALING in the details screen as children.

Yes that is all true! But only on the female side. If she is strong in two area's, it seems that she will take turns as to what skill she passes on to the child. I try to breed my builders. You never know when you need to some building skills, even if they are are very slight.

Actually, I tend to breed my farmers, since that means that I don't have to give them a check mark when they grow up and they will still do plenty of farming.

Builders and researchers become unneeded after a while.
