I love the decisions the games throw at you. Do I open the crate, read the book, etc. or not? Whatever your decision-you never get the same outcome twice. I would like to see even more of them in VV3, anyone with me?

I just had one entitled The Love Note. It was pretty cute and without giving away the whole thing, the outcome I chose was to "write his own poem". I'm wondering if anyone has had this event & chosen the other option, which was I think to hide behind the tree and catch the poet? Much obliged! - Yaelle

I've done both! The guides section of VV2 has a spoilers list for island events and other things if you want to see what each choice brings.

...like with the one about blocks...I let the little girl apprentice but I wonder what would have happened if I'd just let her play. Letting her apprentice didn't really do much.

No, we cant re-do an event, it's totaly random!
and yes we may have the same event twice and more! I had "the Mother Parrot" 3 times in a week, in the same tribe!

I haven't been playing the game for very long (five days max) and I don't wanna read the spoilers 'cause I'm doing pretty good on my own for a rookie (I had half the puzzles and the gong completed) but are these so called "island events" related to ringing the gong?

No, the "Island events" are those that happen, most of time, once by day and by tribe when you open the game. Ringing the gong is something else, but there is one "effect" of the gong that may produce an event, good or bad at random!
