Is it necessary to buy the Isola Water (level 3) to finish game or can I discover all species and magic plants with level 2 water? Also, I have almost all of my bugs (43 0f 48). Do I need the level 3 net to get all of them or can I get them all with level 2 net? Will they all eventually come around with only level 2 net? I am trying to determine what is most important to spend my money on. THX!

I believe they'll all come eventually, the upgrade nets will make it easier to catch some (those dragonflies are REALLY fast) but no you don't *need* to upgrade. And they should come around eventually.

As for the water...dunno. I might test that out when I start over.

As far as I know, you don't need the water to finish the game but the higher level waters evaporate slower, cause less disease, and in general help the health of your plants. I found it helpful to have lvl 3 water.

As for the nets, I'm not skilled enough to catch the fast bugs with the lvl 2 net, I personally needed the full upgrade. But if you are quick and accurate, I think you could without.

And l3 water fills up faster.

i think the only upgrades NECESSARY to the completion of the game are the soil upgrades

the others help (a lot in some cases) but i think you technically could finish the game without them
