If you explain why you thought you would get the results you said, it may help us explain to you where you made a mistake.

But let me try to explain the charts:

Go to the "flowers" tab. Find the name of the flower in the first column and then highlight that row. Then find the name of the second flower in the first/top row. Go down that colum until you hit the highlighted row. That will be the name of the flower you will get from the cross. i.e. In Borg's chart, rosaceae is in row 9, and fragrant is in column M, so the result you will get, jalapa is in cell M9.

Do the same thing for the foliage. Does that help?
