1. After all 50 esteemed elders do you still have your villagers master 3 skills?

2. Do you always reach maximum population?

3. Do you play more than 1 game at a time?

3. Do you make a villager a trainee in 3 skills and then let them do what they want, or master one skill before moving on to another?

I'm looking for some input before I start another game which means deleting 1 or more. I want to change my strategy the next time around.

After 50 elders you can do what you want with them. allow on skill or two or three or four etc etc. theres nothing stopping you. my games ive gotten all my elders, but still some villagers i make master more then one skill, so that if somthing happens (like the doctor dying and people get sick) then theres another villager to take over.

You will reach a max population if you have mothers working on it. personally i find that having 2 mothers keeps my village at a comfortable living level for my tastes, you dont have to keep at the max, but theres no reason not to either.

I have 3 games going right now. thats more then enough for me. but i know of some people who have all 5 slots full. play with as many games as you can handle.

I find they learn faster if you put them on one task and then move them to the next task. if you allow them to do what they want they will spend alot of time enjoying the pond.

As long as you dont have all 5 slots full you dont have to delete any games. but if you do have all 5 filled. i would suggest if your having a hard time deciding which one to delete, then dont. use the instructions for backing up and saving the files and copy them to another file far away from the originals, that way if you decide you want to start it again, just put the files back and your game will still be there.

and changing stragedy is why they made the game the way it is,, gl

Thanks for your response. It is very helpful. I have 5 games running and it's getting a little tedious. I usually start a new game when the one I'm working on is slow, like a long wait for tech points.

I've also found that at maximum population on all 5 games is a bit too much. A smaller population seems easier to handle, not so many to train.

Thanks too for the tip on saving the games. I haven't tried that before, but now I think I will.
