The chart has one tab for foliage (plants) and another for the flowers. If you want to find out how to make a Maple, look on the plants tab and find a box in the center part of the chart where Maple is listed. Look at the plant type in the top row above that box and the plant name in the left column in the same row as that box and you will have two plants that, when cross-pollinated, will produce a maple. For example, you can see the crossing a Maranta and a Ball Cactus will produce a Maple. You do the same thing on the Flowers tab to get the flower you want. \:\)
