Hi,

This is totaly driving me insane, i am trying to make a citrus maple, could someone in layman terms tell me how to do this please?

A what + A what = A cirtus maple would also be incredibly helpful.

I have all the gold tools so thats not going to a problem not having the correct kind of soil or what have you.

Hopefully someone can help me from tearing any more of my hair out -lol.

There are many combinations that will produce that plant. There is a complete breeding chart in the Plant Tycoon Guide that would help you.

I took a look at the guide you posted but didnt understand how it works

The chart has one tab for foliage (plants) and another for the flowers. If you want to find out how to make a Maple, look on the plants tab and find a box in the center part of the chart where Maple is listed. Look at the plant type in the top row above that box and the plant name in the left column in the same row as that box and you will have two plants that, when cross-pollinated, will produce a maple. For example, you can see the crossing a Maranta and a Ball Cactus will produce a Maple. You do the same thing on the Flowers tab to get the flower you want.

I think got this even though im still a touch confused lets see if im getting this:

For the flowers part, a tila crossed with a fabled gives a citrus for example?

Then i would cross the tila + fabled = citrus
with the maranta + ball cactus = maple

Breed a Citrus Ball Cactus with a Citrus Reptans, then breed the Citrus Ball Cactus with the resulting Citrus Miranta.

I will try that as im still struggling with the chart that was provided what i thought i was going to get turned out to be something completly different -lol

I now have a notepad handy as I can't always remember what I bred after the new seeds have grown. Sometimes, they don't seem to be what I was planning on, so I try to keep a backup copy of the seed that I just bred for reference, and try to write down what I just mated to what. I also try to use the different types of pots for the different types of species (doesn't always work, though - lol).
