OK so I've done all the puzzles including opening up the cave. Do my villagers go inside? I've tried putting several of the ones that like the dark, exploring, etc. and even my golden child inside but they just tell me that there's a bowl of cherries in there. Nothing else. Is something else supposed to happen?

the adfults have to be put on the cave then you will get a conclusion for thAT puzzle.

Yes I got the conclusion but I'm wondering if they ever go inside. Does the cave lead to VV2 Lost Children? Also, who the heck are they waiting for...lol. I'm being impatient I know but I just can't help it.

Yes, the cave leads to VV2 (which isn't explained until you see the VV2 intro). Many mysteries, however, won't be understood until at least VV3, since VV2 introduces even more mysteries. ;\)
