Any suggestions on how to store seeds. My 3 boxes are full and I am no where near finishing the game. I am worried I will delete some seeds and then I need them??!!!

I try keeping 1 of each seed but deleting duplicates. You do get paid for seeds you trash, but only $1-5 each. The exception to this is my most valuable plant. I always keep 15 of them on hand for a quick "money batch" whenever my cash gets low. Since plants produce so many seeds, you always have more than you need. Don't feel bad about selling some of them. \:\)

Thanks!! I have to start getting a bit more organised and get rid of some seeds. I have found 53 different plants, only 2 magic plants though. \:\)

I've found 104 species and only 3 magic plants, so you're doing good. \:\) One thing I do to organize my seeds is plant them and then self-pollinate the resulting plant to produce seeds that clearly show what plant they are. I keep 1 from each plant and sell the rest to the trash can. Then I sell the plant in the nursery. It's money both ways. \:\)

I beat you all - 118 species and 1 magic plant:( I am getting sooo close to using some of the "recipies" for magic plants. Just I don't want to finish the game too soon and once I start down that trail, I know I won't be able to resist using them to finish it all.

I am with you Barhi. I'm not sure how many species I've grown (I'm at work right now) but I still only have that level one Magic plant!

However, I am very organised and I have faith that my methodical approach will bear fruit (or flower!) in the long run.

I've been playing the game in multiple slots, and keeping a list of my breeding attempts and results separately, but combining the data in one worksheet for "species found." There are duplicates between the games, but it reduces the number of plants that I need to "test" to see if it is Magic or not.

I've been doing the same thing that Quaggy is doing for seed storage. Keep 15 of the most valuable species and only one each of the others.

And I'm sadly losing the race....60 species found and no magic plants. I've been focusing too much on building up my cash and spending it on enhancements. Not the fastest way to play the game, especially since my most valuable plant is only $102.

Once you get fully into the breeding program, more new species will emerge and the Magic Plants will surprise you. But the hard part is deciding which seeds to discard.

With a possible 500 combinations of plants, there's no way you'll be able to keep one of each seed in your seed trays. At some point you're going to have to discard some that you only have one of.

I am trying to keep one seed of all the "basic" plants, and keep a record of what I cross and what it gives me. That way, I can discard some of the crosses, and if I find I need them later on, at least I've got the "raw materials" there to recreate them.

And I also keep 15 of my highest-sellers for a quick money topup when I need it.

i have 3 magic plants and some that generate 257.00 each i only grow 5 of these at a time and grow and cross breed 10 others from my collection. i like to keep only 1 seed from each plant but i harvest all sseds until the plant is depleted selling the extras.

I found my second magic plant last night. Yay!

I have found seed organisation quite difficult. I too keep a handy "bottom row" of my highest seller.

I was keeping two of every seed I got (one to cross-breed, one for backup) but I don't have enough space for that now.

My research program is based on finding the flower and plant combinations rather than breeding specific plant species, so I now keep 2 of each discovered flower and plant type.

I'm spending more and more time "pruning" the seeds I've collected. At first I'd keep around 15 of the highest-earning plant in case I needed a cash crop, plus as many as possible of the other seeds. The "as many as possible" soon became a couple, then one, now I'm having to trash the lower-tier seeds so that I can now keep tier 3 and 4 seeds only.

Well, I have played this game with no rhyme or reason just random breeding and no record keeping. I even trashed my seeds with no regard for the future since I wasn't working by any recipe. This tactic seemed to work for me since I fluked on all 6 magic plants... 3 of them were "born" in the same breeding batch even!

Now that I have all the magic plants, I have decided to take a more serious approach to breeding since I have only discovered 132 breeds. I am only keeping one seed of each plant and higher tiered seeds get priority over lower tiered ones. I also have kept seeds from each of my magical plants and 15 of the most valuable one.

52 species discovered and 1 magic plant so far.

Based on my notes (if correct), I'm always keeping:
- Spotted Reptans
- Citrus Reptans
- Spotted Ball Cactus
- Citrus Ball Cactus

To recreate the Tier 1 flowers & plants:
Spotted * Citrus = Jalapa
Spotted * Jalapa = Bluestar
Citrus * Jalapa = Fourpetal

Reptans * Ball Cactus = Maranta
Reptans * Maranta = Astera
Ball Cactus * Maranta = Maple

Haven't figured out the Tier 2's yet.

After restarting until I got the 4 main plants to start with I can confirm that this is correct. I am going to start on the tier 2 after I breed a bunch of the first magic plant to get my soil level up to 2.
