Hi, just wondered if i had a problem with my game, i have managed to get 50 esteemed elders but can not get anymore, i have several villagers who are master at three skills but they r not becoming elders??? i have seen people that have 60 so why cant i make anymore

sorry just read someone elses post about this n the replies, if 50 is the maximum u can have then how come everyone one on the leaderboard has over 50 and someone has managed to get 60????

You have to be very lucky or cheat to get more than 50 elders. There is an Island Event that can help.

I wouldn't wanna be caught cheating and be up on the leaderboard. :SHAME:

Yes, some are obviously cheaters, but some are just lucky. The mods are doing their best to remove cheaters. It used to be worse, trust me!

how can u be lucky if the max is 50, and if these people r cheaters then it is not fair on the rest of us who play properly, how r we supposed to get recognised for good game playing, i think it is really unfair and it makes me lose interest in games when this can happen and does happen

there is an event that sometimes can get you an extra elder. It's a spoiler though, if I told you.

You can legitimately get more than 50 elders, and we've allowed some leeway in the leader board, since the Island Event can happen multiple times.
