I just come back from my doctor and while I was in the waiting room looking at the plants and I thought: Why not a window box of flowers in PT2? The challenge would be to put in the same box some plants that can grow together (some plants couldn't be together in the same soil) and to take care of the attractiveness in the same time! Just a little idea!

And - speaking of sounds - randomly generated bird calls, maybe a buzzing bee from time to time, and I'd love to be able to purchase butterflies to let loose in the nursery. Think that would be a customer atractant, also!

First off I would have to say that this is one of the most enjoyable games I have ever come across, and I thought that about Fish Tycoon too! I have even quit playing WOW and GW for PT. I am a notes and spreadsheet person too, just like lp7p, and I am enjoying the waiting to see the little sprouts. However, for those who are not notes and spreadsheet people, it would be easiest to have a listing with ??? marks that fill in once you've bred the plant, as well as a genealogy tab to see the parents and grandparents. Another thing I completely agree with is the magnifying glass to see your plants, I've completely junked a grass plant just to get to the three little grey hairs at the very back of the plant. And of course, MORE greenhouses! An idea for PT2 of my very own, so far, and that is, Tadaa, having a great game. And since it Might be made by LDW, I know my idea will be in there. Have a Great Day!!

Great ideas, Mydnight - I love your idea of the ??? listing that automatically fills in! Terrific! And- also the genealogy tab! Hope these gets a LOT of support! I'll gladly trade away any of my suggestions (so far ) to see these implemented!

I second that! The ??? listing is the perfect solution, mechanical rather than revealing. I like the genealogy tab too--but would prefer it to stay with just the parents, not the grandparents--leaves a bit more challenge. That would save the cumbersome process of stashing the generating seed of a new plant so I can go back and look at the seed to get the parentage, yet wouldn't provide any more non-mechanical clues than we have now.

I don't want to have to resort to Excel or external notes to figure out what I've done and where to go, I'd like some sort of management tool within the game. If you don't like that, you don't have to use it, but I'd prefer not to have to take so many notes.
What he said.

I agree with Jazzo's suggestions. A plant listing would be great, but maybe a bit of a spoiler for some.
