The other day I was at walmart and saw both Virtual Villager: A New Home and Virtual Village: The Lost Children. Being that Fish Tycoon was before both of them I was wonderin if it made it to retail yet and if not any idea when?

I myself already have all three of the games, but I was just curious. My niece (6)and nephew (8)love playin the games on my computer, but their computer is not online. One of these days I might be in generous mood get it for them.

Yes, Fish Tycoon for Windows is currently available in a retail boxed version from several retail outlets, including Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart and EB Games, as well as their online sites.

Since the game has been out for such a long time, some stores may no longer carry it. You can always order it from one of their onlines stores and have the game delivered to you.

i looked for fish tycoon last night too

i saw vv1 and vv2, and i got so excited i almost knocked my brother over (not an easy feat, i assure you) when i saw them!

when we wandered down the row to look for some silly war game he wanted, 2 people went over and were looking at the VV boxes! lol

The retail situation of our games is a bit confusing and complicated.
We know that VV1 and VV2 are in most retail stores like Walmart, BestBuy, Target.
- Best Buy carries FT, VV1 and VV2 in a box.
- Walmart carries VV1 in a jewelbox and VV2 in a normal carton box. They have never carried FT, but we are always trying to convince them it would sell great. Maybe now after they are seeing the VV sales, they will change their mind.
- Target doesn't carry FT, but carries VV1. I am not sure VV2.

A separate situation is the online store of these retail stores. Confusing eh?
- Best Buy had Fish Tycoon and VV1 on their online catalogue. Now it's not there anymore, but VV2 is. This is a mystery to us.
- Walmart has VV1 and VV2
- Target I think also as only VV2

I tend to find games like these at Big Lots. I pay 6.00 for them and they are brand new. If another store stops selling them, or has overstock, Big lots will bid on the lot and sell it at their store for a discount. I haven't checked for LDW games since I didn't know they were in stores, so I will check now! IF not there, keep checking back, they get them all the time.
