I know you can't rush Mother Nature, but I also wondered if chemicals cause plants to require more pruning.

I've noticed that every time I've used the fertilizer bomb, or the insta-grow formula I have more pruning to do.

Anyone else observed this correlation? I realize that there are benefits (for inpatient ppl like me) to the chemicals, but maybe truly organic plants are the healthiest?

Yes, I hae noticed. I wouldn't blame the plant to need more pruning though. Since using chemicals on real plants can also effect them in real life.

I noticed the same thing. It hasn't stopped me from doing it though, I just bought better pruners, hehe.

fertilizer will make the plants grow bigger, so you may need to do more pruning

my understanding of the insta-grow is that it cuts down the growth time and does not change how the plant grows, so it shouldn't change how much pruning is needed
