I found the learning to play process fairly simple. I actually haven't bought a single seed yet. I grew the "starter seeds" that were already in my inventory and had those self-pollinate so that I had a stock of seeds. Then I played around with cross-pollinating a little to get some new seeds. Once I found my magic plant, I worked on growing and selling as many of those as possible (while using them to produce more seeds to make more of them) until I had enough cash for the best soil.

Now I'm back to cross-pollinating to see what else I can find. I have to start getting serious about my charting though since only the "first generation" seeds tell you their parent plants.

OMG, I just LOVE this game, where do I start, my fingers won't type fast enough. In the nursery, when the customers love a plant they do this dance, ohhhhh so cute. I see a lot of familiar faces among the customers, the villagers are envogue. Wow. My plants are so beautiful, but I've run into a little trouble keeping them healthy, because I had this idea....cross pollenate, well I've got some pretty unusual varieties but they are not doing well. Maybe the second string will do better, but they are selling. I've got a great _bug_ collection. It's taken me back to my childhood, but I don't have to worry about them getting out of the jars. GREAT, game LDW. Gotta go, gotta check on my plants....lp7p

This game is the best! I was eagerly waiting for it and it certainly did not disappoint. It's visually stunning, I love the music and am having the best time trying to catch those bugs. I wanted to call out sick to work today but I figured I would play all night!
