Sure! The pollen that you grab from the pollen area always comes from the plant that is selected (has a white circle around the pot). Make sure that you have selected the plant that you want to take pollen from. You can then grab that pollen and drag it to a different plant, which is how you cross-pollinate your plants. Cross-pollination is the only way to produce different species from breeding. \:\)
