Ok...I have an Adept builder that WILL not move up! She is also a Master at Research and Farming, so she is next in line to be an Elder. She fixes the huts, eats the stew and exercises, but NOTHING! I am waiting on her so I can get to the crate, but I cannot get her to progress! One of my other Master Builders is kinda old and I am sure he is going to DIE before she becomes a Master. Any thoughts?

keep an eye on the builder, make sure she doesn't try to goof off

sometimes they gain skill faster when the game is actually off

i would definitely suggest putting the game on 1/2 speed to preserve the life of your Master Builder who is already old

those last ticks can take forever, just keep your fingers crossed! and keep us posted on how it works out!

I use an exercise stew that makes them build up building.

Certainly the advice to put the game on half speed to lengthen the life of the older builder is sound. I'm not convinced that the exercise stew is worthwhile. It is much easier simply to set your builder on fixing the huts. Make sure the builder is "fixing" the hut, though.

I assume from the wording of your post that you have no building projects underway at the moment. If you have any still to start you might consider advancing them as villagers tend to wander away from fixing the huts, whereas they stick to their task much better if engaged in a proper building undertaking.
