I'd like to expand on this idea.

Zoo Tycoon - Use the same "tycoon" game model. Breed animals for the zoo as new attractions, the "sell" screen can be points acquired for new species or new exhibits. Basically what you'd have is a full database of zoo animals. The main difference is you would have multiple exhibits. A fish exhibit, an african animal exhibit, reptile exhibit, monkey exhibit. Each is a mini tycoon game in itself... or you could have a zoo start out with one exhibit and buy more exhibits and start breeding new species.

Jurassic Tycoon - Same thing, but with dinosaurs.

Mad Scientist - where you breed animals, humans, anything together and make hybrid creatures. Then sell these creatures to the government, circus or third world countries for a profit. lol Another idea could be gene splicing and creating creatures that have unique abilities and you get points for refining a creature into something extraordinary.

Alien Agenda - You're an alien race that's dying due to gene degradation and/or an incureable gene problem. Your goal is to abduct humans and animals and use them to save your race. The goal is to fix your genes or create a hybrid race that will allow your alien race to survive. You must reach a series of pinnacles to win the game.

Trade Wars clone - I'd love to see a remake of the old text-based BBS game called Trade Wars on the Pocket PC. This could be a VERY popular, no... HUGE game for LDW. To get the gist of this game concept see http://www.tradewars.com/ Arthur, if you've never played Trade Wars before you have no idea the huge appeal this game had back in the BBS days, and still has today (see this site for an overview of the game: http://www.eisonline.com/tradewars/ ). The game allows you to create a random universe of thousands of planets. The game places you in a random location in the universe with a starter ship. The idea is to find planets, claim them, set up trade posts on the planets and expand your enterprise. Meanwhile, other gamers are doing the same thing within the same universe. If this weren't enough there are malevolent alien races in the universe. The concept is to move among trade lanes from one place to another selling and trading minerals and goods for a profit. The money you earn allows you to upgrade your planets and your ship. New items can be purchased, from trade post upgrades to ship holds to unique weapons and warp drives and defense weapons. The game is genius in that it allows space conquest, is simple in design, but has HUGE replay value. This game is so darn interesting and fun that it still survives to this day. This game was written back in 1989 so the concept is easily translated to the Pocket PC. The hardest part would be interfacing it with a Windows app to allow multiple users into a universe to play. You could host games/universes yourself via your web site or create an app that allows users to host their own TW games. The replay value is infinite. I hope you seriously consider this, because it has huge potential if you can pull it off. If you've never tried this game you need to get out there and give it a go. It's so much fun! Something like this could skyrocket LDW as a Pocket PC software developer.
