Virtual Villagers Tips & Tricks, Walkthroughs, Guides, Hints and HelpLast Day of Work Official Forums: Virtual Families, Virtual Villagers, Fish Tycoon
I only read this halfway through, (Made it to page 20, I think) before I got tired. But I had to chime in to say that I liked a lot of the suggestions I read.
One thing I particularly liked was the idea of the destruction of huts from weather or other events. I also like the blacksmith idea and the upgrade of huts. I get frustrated trying to get villagers to attain Master Builder once all the building is completed and have them constantly checking huts that are in good condition. In that same line, I would also love to see a table at the hospital so healers can research like scientists, so it's easier for a villager to become a Master Healer.
I also love the marriage idea. I am a little eeked out by parents mating with their children or one guy fathering a whole village. I let my kids play this game, but am concerned somewhat with the values that teaches. While I understand that this is just a game I am still a little disturbed that my girls see the villagers hop in the hut with so many different people. I really like the idea of marrying two villagers so they only mate with each other.
One thing that I would love to see, but only saw one other person post this, more variation in the skin tone of the villagers. I've only noticed two skin tones, pale Caucasian and tanned Caucasian. I would love to see some darker skin colors, maybe a total of four or five. I understand that this might make the breeding harder to program, with the kids looking like the parents. Still would be neat to see, though.
Love the games! I have both VV and VV2, and am looking forward to VV3. I know whatever changes you make it will be great!
