do you have to bury them? would it do any harm to just leave them there?

It doesn't do any harm (as far as I know), but if you look in your stats screen, there is a count of the number of villagers that you have buried. That was how I realised that villagers could be buried

Kelly -

You don't have to bury them. I personally like it that my villagers do because the little corpses are kind of scary looking . If you don't have the proper tech levels to bury them they will decompose after 24 hours anyway, and they'll do no harm laying there. Unless of course you have a village of fragile people who might become depressed looking at corpses all day. Of course this might also motivate them to work harder and not wind up as a corpse themselves. One never knows with these crazy villagers!

Think of where funerals and memorial services are frequently held, and that should lead you in the right direction as far as which technology you'll need!

Barb, correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe you need at least a level 2 spirituality? I think my villagers were burying at that level...

After you have the correct tech levels you have to encourage them on their first burial. See they're kind of lazy and prudish and getting dirty while digging or making tombstones is not their favorite thing. So once you have enough Spirituality you need to take a villager to a place that looks nice for burying and see if they notice anything. Once they see what they're looking for they'll bury all on their own!

I was just trying to be a little more subtle!

lol - oh - Well I didn't say WHERE to go, just what you need I was subtle at first and she asked specifically which ones, so I felt like blabbing. I have a big mouth. Lol

No problem! I homeschool my grandsons in music, so I like to make people think (maybe I'm a little too stingy with hints?)!!

See I'll give people a hint, then if they ask directly I'll answer pretty directly, leaving SOME things as a mystery. Then after that I expect them to remember what I said and I never answer it again - lol - at least if you give hints that leaves room open for them to come up with the answer on their own. I tend to do that only after I've given a direct answer once.
