:?I have been playing VV2 for quite awhile. I noticed that the food bin starts disappearing even when no one is eating. Its frustrating when you are trying to fill the bin and than all of a sudden it starts going down when everyone is busy doing something. Has anyone else noticed this? The kids arent eating because they are playing.

The food goes away a little periodically as if they were eating. It doesn't matter if they go to the bin or not.

We never see the kids eating (except if we put them on the bin or on a stew) but they eat and they eat a lot!!! \:\)

Yes eating for the children is implied and noted as a small depletion in the food counts...

Children (including the babes-in-arms) eat the same amount as the other villagers.

Children (including the babes-in-arms) eat the same amount as the other villagers.

And everyone eats every day, even if you don't see them do it.

I think you're just to assume that the amount taken would be if everyone in your tribe ran over and grabbed some grub. I noticed the more villagers I have - the more grub went missing. Also - what I wonder is... how often does it refresh that it takes the grub? Is it once an hour or more? I remember struggling to get my Foodages up because it seemed like each time any villager went to the bin - no matter to eat or to deposit - the grub would go away!!
