What was the silliest mistake you made when playing VV2?

Mine was when I turned on a game after a couple of days away to find the 20-odd villagers all starving with over two hours to go before the next set of crops and still 30,000 tech points needed to get L3 Farming. I didn't feel like nursemaiding them through the problem so I clicked on Restart. As soon as I did that I realised I hadn't yet got L2 Farming, which would probably have saved them all!

That's annoying!
I surely have done that kind of mistakes but I may have cancelled it from my mind!
I just remember that: I wanted that one of my villagers have a baby with a red-hair guy. So I bring her to a red-hair guy but it was the wrong one! And when I looked at my notes (I write one a paper who is who), I saw it was her brother!! I felt very bad and angry against me!!

My silliest mistake was letting a Man as an adept parent...Consequently he got all my researchers pregnant!!!! LOL.

mine was goin to an appt aparently doing that killed off all my villagers i hope i get more or a crate of trilplets like u would get in the first onecause the two i have left are females

I get a new village going, all set up in the manner that always results in a thriving village for me, and then take off for the day. The next day, I come back and everyone's dead! Then I realized I'd accidentally set it to x2 speed and not 1/2 speed like I thought I did. T_T

having them get level 2 farming before the algae . because then they got coconut fever and they wouldn't stay out of the trees!!
