Okay my village is currently at 16 I *almost* have enough points for my final building research. Problem is I have no "Master Builder" Any idea how to get builders to increase their knowledge? I must not need a new hut because there is no scaffold for it.

Set the more skilled builder and just put him at "fixing hut"!
He'll increase his skill but it take some time. If you have done all the other buiding task, it's the only to do!
The only thing to do to have a new hut is to increase the population!

Well atleast now I have a better clue thanks. I have no idea what the population is now i haven't looked but will use it all the info I get thanks

ooo I just got good news I don't need the master builder the adept builder does just as well to restore my ruins

They are also capable of chisling the stone.

I thought the ruins and the stone was finished!! That means you have many things more to do with your builders and they may become master easier!

lol no the way I read the other posts and guides i had to have the master builder to do those things. *cringes* sorry for the misunderstanding.

Which guides were you reading? I'm pretty sure that the Guides for VV on the forums don't say anything about requiring a master builder for the earlier puzzles.
