A villager can be healed when they are sick, but what about when they are weakened? It seems they can not be healed. Is there anything that can be done? Lead them to the food? I have some older villagers that are weakened - is this just due to old age?

I am not sure what exactly helps revive them, but definitely having plenty of food is good. I try to get my weak villagers to research, as they can just stand at the table. Others have said building can injure the villagers further. You can also make the villagers eat and drink, but I do not know for sure if this actually helps them

Older villagers do seem to have a tendency to weaken more quickly, and have trouble recovering as well

I found out that farming is good for the weakened villagers. I tried to keep one at the research table and it weakened her even further. Try farming and also breeding.

You are right! I have seen weakend villagers get much better when moved to farming- makes them tougher stock I guess!
It also helps if there is lots of food in the bin.
Older villagers will weaken and die... there's not much you can do for them!

I've found that farming makes them well again, too. Maybe the farmers eat more; I've had a couple that sure looked like they were eating very well!
