So should i use that "stew"on the older people that are a bit weakened?? Then keep doing it to see if my villager survives for longer?

I only use the "Restore" {HIghlight} stew when they are getting weakened it seems as though it helps a little.

I had one live until 102.( Accoring to my stats, many people had an older villager.) Don't know who or how. I thought it had something to do with an experiment letting them do laundry as much as they want, but my other tribes are only in their 80s and 90s.

I have my two original villagers, one just made Elder today and the other's skill is teaching, researching and she's a very good swimmer (in the pond). They're both 74 at the moment, though the Elder is slightly oder- I'm only guessing because I don't know - but he turns 1 yr older first. I've been doing the "stew" and allowing him to do what he wants. I'm trying to keep him away from the manual labor - but he's stubbron!! He wants to work, and work he does! I just checked him and he was [ uncovering the ruins ] {highlight between the braquets, there is a spoiler there tho} She stays at the research table, which she's happy with. I try to make sure to drop him/her at the food bin often, he seems weaker than her - prone to "not feeling well", and I think its from the Master Builder in him. We'll see how long I can keep them going - but I sure hear the clock ticking and ooooooooh I'll be sad to see them go!!!!!!

OK. Is somebody going to say what they do to get them to live longer? Mine usually die around 77 to 79. Is there a different stew than the one kittenangel2001 mentioned??

the same for me!! and LadyCFII told me that: "Your villagers should regularly live into their late 70s or early 80s with level 3 of Medicine tech, regardless of the other choices that you've made. Living longer than that has more to do with luck than anything else." So we are in the norms!

the stew does not I repeat does not keep them living longer it makes the weakened ones strong again which results in them being able to survive old age. It is all in the way the game is I keep them checked for easy tasks too like farming.... I noticed the ones dying were weakened beyond repair, when i found that special stew I tried it and it prolonged their early demise {for me anyhow}. and yes a villager can die from a weakened condition if they are not put on an easy task or allowed to recouperate from their injuries. It was just an observation I had made about the stew if I am wrong then I am or it is just sheer luck I do not know.

I had a female villager, who was a twin. Both were 55, and closing in on EE. One rang the gong, and returned to the age of 5. At 16 she was an Esteemed Elder, this time around. She lived to be 77, after returning to the age of 5, which made her, in actual years, 132 years old, however, she outlived everyone of her generation by many years, and had 2 daughters that were 9 years old, when she went back to fivew. Very convoluted.
