I've noticed that when my villagers want to do an action that involves another villager, they always seem to go to the same one, a fellow named Bobo in my particular game. If a woman is set to breed, she'll always go to Bobo. If someone wants to complain or chat, it's Bobo they head for. Bobo was an original villager and also happens to be the first one on the "details list" when I cycle around past the children. So I suspect that he's the first one the code looks at when it's looking for a likely candidate for interaction, and it never seems to get past him. I've seen a couple of other people mention that they have a guy that all of the women insist on mating with.

It's not a major issue, but it does appear to be a bug.

I haven't noticed that happenning in my villages, but I am still convinced that some villagers seem o have certain traits. Some learn harvesting faster, some learn research faster....some seem to be useless at everything.

Maybe Bobo is a good listener and helpful person, and the villagers all know this?!?!

I haven't noticed that particular phenomenon in my villagers. I'll keep a closer eye on them and see if there's that much of a preference when they're making choices on who to interact with.

I've definately noticed this- my last game they were all easy to deal with, but this game they are all lazy, and they don't do ANYTHING unless you stay on them. Definately won't breed unless the PDA is turned off. Very strange. Hopefully, next game will be easier!!

They just hesitate

Is Bobo the oldest villager? Maybe the oldest member of the tribe is some kind of leader?

I've noticed that children really dislike working... If villager is younger than at least 18, he/she always tends to leave the workplace and go do something dumb like "curious about the cactus" But, they seem to get more and more obidient with age ;]

I have had some very smart children. I usually select their inherited skills as soon as I see them, and find that most of my children, happily go off and do those jobs....some do it without selecting their skills at all as well.
