I've got an idea for a new game.
There's a zoo a couple of miles from where I live. It has a thriving and very successful breeding programme for endangered species and one of its most successful projects involved the release of several captive bred endangered Przwalski's horses back into their native habitat a few years ago. It's just built several nice new enclosures to replace some which were ageing or too small.
Since many of the tasks in Virtual Villagers and LDW's other games, involve finding various items/breeding creatures, how about a game which involves hunting endangered species, bringing them back to "your" zoo, breeding them and releasing them back into the wild again?
There would be lots of things to watch out for such as food, conditions (hot/cold/wet/dry), visitors, education, animal exchanges with other zoos, breeding, release, expeditions to collect the creatures in the first place, building enclosures, paying keepers ...
Just a thought.
