Does anyone know if there is a 50 limit on Village Elders? I have dozens of villagers with 3 masters that don't go into the Village Elder status. Why is that?

Hmm I dunno I have had many elders and thats never happened.

Yes, you can only have 50 elders/totems. There is a specific event that will make you have another elder, but it's pretty rare to get it happen just right.

I actually believe the limit is 100.

I also believe you should not try to make one until a certain event happens. When this event does happen, then you make the person mentioned in the event an elder. This will give you 2 elders, believe it or not. You then must wait for the same event to happen to a different villager and do the same thing.

Since there is a limit of 50 that you can make, getting the event is the only way to get more.

For every elder you make without the event, that's one less extra you can earn. If you get 50 elders without ever getting the event, then 51 is impossible.

Any guesses on which event?

I thought there were 2 special "events that could make an elder after 50.. I might be wrong.

I think there is just 1 event but you may have it twice!!
