Wow!! he got to be an esteemed elder at 34. You must have stayed on top of things. I left my runner for a few hours and when I got back he was researching, his first skill. I thought He'd be a Master builder after the mosaic was finished and a hut, but I think he kept wandering off. Then I had him farm. After he was a Master farmer I had to put him on fixing huts to finally get his totem.

When I get a runner again I'm going to spend the day with him/her to see if I can get it done under 42.

I trained him a master in farming first which took him to the age of 21, then reasearch and he ended up about 26, then i put him on healing but he didn't improve so i found out speed kissing when he turned 33

26 has been my best four different times.

I used the same method for all which was having them close to being masters of building and healing before they even turn 14.

You can put a child on a villager to heal them as well as an adult

There's also events that may help a villager with there skills. And ringing the gong, even though kids can't ring it. \:\)
