Have you had an event recently? That maybe made another child.. And this should of been posted in the VV1 forum... Since VV2 doesn't have the GC.

It does soung like an event happened....suredly the golden child is too young to do that type of parenting skill

i didn't see any event..
no one touched my villagers
maybe..
when it is in desperate time the golden child makes(magics) babies to all eligible maidens

I know u guys thought that is weird. But I believe that is exactly what he is doing. Nanui, my GC, tends to linger among the nursing mothers. I left 30 minutes had one nursing mother who was ready to go back to work. Population 31, I come back and now I am at max pop 91. Nanui is always releasing bubbles, rainbows and then I here AAAAHHHHHH! He seems to be taking good care of my tribe, so I'll let him party till the cows come home.

Did you have a villager man set to Breeding? He might of bred with all the other females.

kasey, no I didn't. Unless the GC inspired them or something. I turned all breeding off because I wanted to be able to keep track of Vanui. Now he gets lost in the crowd and its hard to click on him and see what all the AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, bubbles and rainbows are about. The thing that's interesting is he is always smack dab in the middle of the nursing mothers, more bubbles, rainbows. Then he'll run to the garden, food bin, berry bush. More rainbows and bubbles, then he'll throw a party. I was hustling my hiney off this last time. I had an event Rats, and ALL the children were sick. I had to scramble to get them all healed, only lost 3.
I just conducted a census. I now have 26 adults and 64 children. None of them were set to breeding and even more amazing these children are well over adept in their skill categories and most of them are younger than 14!

After reading almost all the threads in that forum plus my own experience I say
as conclusion that many weird things can happens in that game to
our villagers and even nearly miracles if we got a GC.
