Hi All,

I'm new to posting at the forum (but not reading). I've been playing VV since the first one.

Anyway, I was just curious for those of you who have beat the game...

Are you guys still maintaining your tribes? Or once you beat it, did you give them up? Just a random curiosity.

I accidentally lost my very first tribe (which I was down to 2 butterflies needed) because I goofed and deleted my saved games. But my second tribe has been going strong for a long time. It seems to be much easier to leave your tribe going in VV2 than in VV1. In 2 the villagers are more apt to work on their own, which makes things so much easier. So I just check in on the tribe once a day or so. And once in a while I play around with something.

Anyway, that's all. I was just curious to see who is keeping their tribes going.

I keep my tribe going. I don't give up till the tribe dies out!

I still have both my VV1 tribes, but they were too much of a pain to maintain. So they are living life on stop time *G*

I've started new games in the slots originally held by my first tribes so my oldest tribe only goes back a couple of months. Since VV2 came out I'm afraid I've neglected my VV1 tribes, but all five are still going strong; I've looked in from time to time and if the numbers are decreasing I've set a new male villager to be a parent.

I had a tribe that lasted a few months then it died out because I had gone into the hospital and forgot they were turned on.

My 1st tribe in VV2 is still running since the 17 February 2007. The population reached up to 115, then down, then up... to day they are around 100! I just take care of the fire, to have some healers and, sometime to help the youngs to find their way! and they are very well! \:\)
I restart the others when one is "completed" and I want to play an other one.

I still have both my VV1 and VV2 orig tribe, even though all my original villagers have died. I stay on top of mine because one time I left them alone for 20 mins and came back to 23 nursing mothers???!!!! I also have quite a few stubborn and lazy villagers who do everything but work.

I still have my VV1 villages going. All 5 of them. I just completed VV2 and I already know that I'll keep it going and probably let the VV1 go (I started them about 1 month ago). Maybe I'll come back later and start over. VV2 just seems more easily maintained and at least I can still get tech points. I didn't get any tech points after the GC and none of the villager would stay at the table. Of course getting interrupted every 2 minutes might be the problem.

In VV1, if you have all the tech level, they want not to work at research anymore! \:\( But you don't need tech points anymore! \:\)
In VV2, it's not more easy to maintain the tribe because you need to gather the fire or your villagers shall be sick!

Still going strong from when I first started! I have VV1 and VV2 and never had any major problems. I'm thinking of starting a new tribe on VV1 to renew my interest in that game, since I usually just check on them and stuff. ;\) I've been a pretty good goddess if I do say so myself.
