Okay I have a baby reaching for the lagoon and I put child/mother in the lagoon but nothing happends. Am I trying to do something that will not happen?

lol looked in the guides and didn't find anything so I figured I would ask the all knowing up here see if they had any ideas.

Yup that's exactly what i did. It didn't do anything though. I can't even get enough tech points to build an idol or anything which really makes me mad.

Well there is your answer, you need the idol for the golden child to be born. You will also need level 3 in a certain tech.
